About Robb Steinke, ARA, RPRA
Robb Steinke is an Idaho native, who grew up on a family farming operation in eastern Idaho and farmed with his father in the late 70’s & early 80’s. He started his banking career with the Federal Land Bank in 1983, and then took a similar position with Equitable Agri-Business in 1990. Equitable eventually became Rabo AgriFinance (RAF) in 2003. He then retired from RAF in 2016 and started up Robb Steinke Appraisal LLC. He earned his Certified General License in 1992. Due to his focus on lending, he did not earn his ARA designation until 2008. His Real Property Review Appraiser (RPRA) designation was earned in 2010.
Robb has been an instructor for five years and has been teaching the Highest & Best Use course (A290) and also the Foundations of Appraisal Review (A600). He is a past member and chair of the ASFMRA Appraisal Review/Ethics Committee and past member of the ASFMRA Appraisal Education Committee. Robb was President of the Idaho Chapter of the ASFMRA from 1995-1996 and the Idaho-Utah Chapter from 2018-2019.
Robb and his family have lived in Twin Falls, ID for the last 33 years. They have three older sons who are out on their own and three wonderful granddaughters. They enjoy the outdoors, especially cycling in the warmer months and snow skiing in the winter. Also fly fishing for me and sewing/quilting for Jane. Enjoy traveling and hope to soon start traveling the U.S. in their 5th Wheel Toy Hauler. Toys meaning bicycles!
